Yoga Community Steward, FounderThree decades ago, Mia Ferrell embarked on a transformative journey to nurture her mind and body through the transformative power of yoga. She found her love for yoga as foundational movement while recuperating from an auto accident which put a halt to her ballet training. She began her Los Angeles based yoga studies with a regular Iyengar practice which quickly extended into Ashtanga as well. She soon found her mat in front of many of the world’s leading yoga teachers, including Shiva Rea, Kaliji, Seane Corn, Chuck Miller and Les Leventhal.
Today she stands as a dedicated yoga instructor and primary steward of Aryze Hot Yoga in Ashland. Guided by an unwavering passion, her mission is to educate and empower individuals through the art of movement, fostering a deeper connection with their bodies. Having previously worked as a massage therapist and now holding certification as a Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist, Mia possesses a strong foundational understanding of exercise, human performance, and their intricate relationship with the body’s structure and function.
Remaining deeply committed to her own practice and a steadfast learner, Mia recently furthered her training with Leah Shirley at Agni Yoga School in Portland in 2022. As she continues to explore the boundless realm of yoga and embrace its myriad possibilities, Mia ardently shares her expertise, offering support and guidance to the ever-evolving Aryze Yoga community.

Aryze Instructor, Hot 26+2 YogaHaving discovered a profound love for yoga over a decade ago, particularly in the 26 & 2 series, Denise has found solace, healing, and mental clarity through its practice. Even during both pregnancies, she maintained a dedicated yoga regimen, practicing the 26&2 series up until the day of her second child's birth. Now, as a mother to two young boys, her yoga practice holds even greater significance in her life.
Yoga gives her the patience and strength to handle any situation life throws her way. Denise feels that yoga always brings such peace to her entire life when she practices regularly.
From the moment she first experienced the 26&2 class, she harbored a deep-seated aspiration to become a teacher. Upon encountering an opportunity for teacher training at Agni Yoga in Portland, OR, she eagerly seized it, feeling an innate connection to the role. Since then, she has been sharing her acquired wisdom with the yoga community, fulfilling her calling with joy and fulfillment.
In 2021, Denise and her family relocated to Southern Oregon, embracing the vibrant community with enthusiasm. When not on the yoga mat, she delights in exploring the outdoors with her two adventurous boys, engaging in activities such as gardening, hiking, camping, and simply enjoying each other's company.

Kristin is a seasoned teacher of 12 years and practitioner of yoga since the age of 14. Yoga has served many purposes in her life from gaining physical strength, increasing personal awareness, reducing pain and tension, and confirming her spiritual convictions - but the consistent thread is making her body into a safe space to come home to anytime, anywhere. The evolution of her practice began in the midwest with curiosity about eastern philosophy and non-competitive exercise and drew her to the wild west where she experienced expansiveness in all areas of life including her spiritual practice. She has a background in bodywork, Thai Massage, acrobatics, dance, psychology, and writing which all inform her teaching.
Her teaching experience includes philosophy, breath work, asana, somatics, conditioning, bodywork therapy, and self care, and is rooted in trauma sensitivity, personal awareness, and self discovery. She uses her own vulnerability along with playfulness to create a safe and approachable space where people feel comfortable to confront challenges with levity, receptivity, and openness.
Her flow classes are high energy, fun, playful, and challenging. Her therapeutic classes are comprehensive, informative, and relieving. She is also passionate about bringing her expertise to workshops and one on one training to empower people to show up to their lives with more presence and confidence.
Kristin is also a bodywork therapist, entrepreneur, writer, mother, Leo Sun and Moon, midwest transplant, gardener, and lifelong learner.
